Higher Ground, in collaboration with Burlington City Arts, is proud to present an outdoor concert series called Backside at 405. Located behind BCA Studios at 405 Pine Street, in Burlington’s vibrant South End Arts District, Backside at 405 will feature live music every Friday and Saturday night all summer long.
If David Byrne is one of the geniuses of modern times, then Start Making Sense is a tribute to genius. The musicians in this 7-piece Talking Heads Tribute take pride in faithfully recreating the music of Talking Heads entire career, including songs Talking Heads never performed live! Together they bring much of the Heads unique live show to the stage, with front man Jon Braun as a spot-on David Byrne, some have said this is the closest thing you’ll get to seeing Talking Heads again.

The Ardmore Music Hall team has been working nonstop to bring the joy of live music to fans missing a summers’ worth of touring acts, festivals, and local shows due to nationwide restrictions. As the only venue in the Greater Philadelphia area with built-in, multi-camera HD video infrastructure thanks to the streaming titans at Nugs.net, the music hall will broadcast the first live concert from their stage in three months on Saturday, June 20 with Talking Heads tribute Start Making Sense.
Musikfest Cafe in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania has one of the most unique backdrops in the country: Bethlehem Steel. Forming in 1904 (having roots all the way back to 1857), Bethlehem Steel or “The Steel”, as many of the city’s natives call it, was home to some of the hardest working employees for decades. On Thursday evening, a collaboration of top-notch musicians, Everyone Orchestra, came to town conducted by Matt Butler. Opening the night's festivities, Nik Greeley, along with his Philadelphia based members, “The Operators”.
Start Making Sense create an atmosphere so similar to the legendary group, Talking Heads, if you close your eyes you may feel like you are hearing the voice of David Byrne belting out “Once In A Lifetime” or “Take Me To The River”.
With Jon Braun, playing the part of Byrne, Start Making Sense has toured throughout the country, selling out shows coast to coast for over a decade.

Start Making Sense are selling out rooms throughout the eastern half of the United States. This band is a huge hit as the Talking Heads are never on tour, and the band's amazing dedication to the music and fun loving attitude has proven to be a favorite at clubs and festivals.
