A festival close to our hearts, Grateful Web has been covering Cali Roots since the mid-2010s and during this time, we have seen firsthand how many hold it in high regard. An institution many believe to be the nucleus of the reggae resurgence in America, it has both played host to and even helped create some of the biggest names in the genre. At the center of it all, festival organizer Dan Sheehan runs the show.
As the countdown begins for the long-loved California Roots Music and Arts Festival, festival organizers Good Vibez Presents have added fan favorites Stick Figure to their already stacked 2024 lineup.
"Seeing the growth of Stick Figure over the last eight years has been an honor to watch. We are excited to have him on Cali Roots 2024,” says festival producer, Dan Sheehan.
This July, get ready for an extraordinary musical journey as AEG Presents brings STICK FIGURE to the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre for two nights of electrifying performances. The much-anticipated concerts will take place on Wednesday, July 24, and Thursday, July 25, 2024, promising fans an unforgettable experience in one of the most awe-inspiring live music venues in the world.

Good Vibez Presents and PR Entertainment, Inc., the teams behind Tahoe’s ever-popular Lake Tahoe Reggae Festival, are proud to announce the lineup for the Lake Tahoe Winter Reggae Festival 2024. On February 17th and 18th—President’s Day weekend—reggae royalty Damian 'Jr Gong' & Stephen Marley and fan favorites, Stick Figure will take the stage at the brand new Tahoe Blue Event Center in Stateline, Nevada.
The 2023 Levitate Music & Arts Festival made a huge splash this past weekend receiving a 10 for style, a 10 for creativity, and a 10 for overall great vibes as this wicked sweet New England festival celebrated its 10th anniversary! Born out of the basement of a surf shop bearing the same name back in 2003, Levitate is still embodying all that is creative, connected to nature, and community-oriented in New England.

Day three of Cali Roots featured the support of artists at many stages of their careers, but almost all of whom had a strong root in the festival, dubbed that day by Alborosie as “Montereggae.” As many of the artists performing were those who were just this year given their first opportunity to take the stage, it also highlighted a theme of the weekend as many acts who had started playing smaller stages earlier in their careers were given the opportunity to truly shine in the limelight.

Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom is a hallmark Denver venue featuring a unique wrap-around balcony and two rooms that offer live music simultaneously: Cervantes’ Other Side. Each room operates independently of the other, but they are connected, which gives patrons the freedom to venture back and forth between each room.
With a distinctive sound developed through tireless attention to musicality and artistry, Stick Figure has redefined American reggae music with his latest album, Wisdom, released today. As with his previous releases, Wisdom was written, produced and recorded by Scott Woodruff, a self-taught musician, at Stick Figure-owned Great Stone Studios in Oakland, CA, former home of Green Day.

Day three of Cali Roots drew possibly the biggest crowd in the festival’s history. The masses served as a reminder to all of the community that had been missed so dearly over the last several years. In so many ways, it felt almost like a family reunion with friends in the reggae community we haven’t seen in far too long. With half the festival having passed, the best was still yet to come as Day three held some of the best surprises of the weekend.
