Slightly Stoopid, one of southern California’s favorite Reggae infused party bands, brought a marathon jam to the Ventura Fairgrounds, Friday, October 9. The show was part of the Concerts in Your Car series, which brought a full season of shows to the outdoor venue. After waking up on Sunday I immediately wanted to see who was still around. The people that were still camping felt a sense of accomplishment that they literally weathered the storm. The weather seemed iffy still that morning, but then it turned into the best day out of the whole weekend.

Today, March 11, 2019 - 311 and their fans celebrate 311 DAY with 3 major happenings.

The last day of a festival is always bittersweet, but fans came to the fairgrounds early to take in as much of Cali Roots as they could. Day three began as festival goers trickled in just as New Kingston wrapped up their sound check. Walking through the gates of the fairgrounds with this live music already playing earlier than usual proved an uplifting and exciting experience to the festival. Starting the day with New Kingston set a positive tone for the rest of the day.

Multi-platinum band 311 have formally announced the June 23 release date of their 12th studio album MOSAIC (BMG) alongside the reveal of its unique album cover--which is made up of nearly 10,000 photos submitted by fans. Even the image of the 5 band members on the cover is made up of tiny fan photos--to solidify the concept of band and fans as one.
