On May 6 and 7 , 2023 the legendary Bearsville Center in Woodstock, NY will host the second annual Woodstock Rock Art & Poster Show (WRAPS).

“Are you ready for what’s next,” asks Mike Peters, frontman of THE ALARM, “the second greatest rock and roll band in the world” (Bono, U2) in his brand-new song “Next,” the video for which premieres today via BrooklynVegan.

Out of the gate, “Wrong End” is an anti-song - a sprawling, post-heartland rock composition that is filled with introspection from Los Angeles four-piece Balto. The first new music from the band in 2023, the song is a winding, deeply personal narrative about acceptance that returns primary songwriter Dan Sheron to the ghosts of his past in Moscow’s Chinatown and features phenomenal interwoven group playing from his bandmates.

Velvety-voiced keyboardist Elizabeth Shepherd arrived on the international scene in 2006 when her debut album Start To Move was voted one of the top jazz albums of the year by listeners of the influential Gilles Peterson Show on BBC Radio Worldwide. Since then, the Montreal-based soul-jazz innovator has established herself as one of the most alluring and imaginative artists on the scene today.
