The Birthplace of Country Music (BCM) proudly presents The Blue Ridge Opry at the Southwest Virginia Cultural Center & Marketplace in Abingdon, Va. at 7 p.m. ET, Nov. 18, hosted by Kelley Breiding and featuring her band, The Cowboys.

Now that the 2023 holiday season has begun, Jason Kelce, Lane Johnson and Jordan Mailata will release their version of the iconic Mariah Carey classic, "All I Want For Christmas Is You" on Friday, November 3rd.  The song is the trio’s first single from their upcoming LP, A Philly Special Christmas Special (Vera Y Records) and will be available on all digital platforms.

“This song is about the struggle of an old soul in a new world,” says Low Water Bridge Band's Alex Kerns about their new single “Clarke County Clay.” Touching on karma, and in Kerns' words, “how it can all come back to you in the end,” the waltzing tune rides a snare drum pattern akin to a funeral march, through waves of pedal steel and precise stacks of background vocals. “'Clarke County Clay' came from a chord progression that found itself on my fingers one morning, this happened to be Christmas morning,” Kerns remembers.

The bass force, formerly of the fabled heavy metal band formerly known as Spinal Tap, is back, and back with a vengeance.
