MerleFest, presented by Window World, will honor Doc Watson’s 100th birthday, and commemorate the festival’s 35th year in 2023. To celebrate the historic milestone, organizers intend to showcase MerleFest’s unique history, celebrate the festival’s diverse, genre-crossing catalog, and present unique artist collaborations to honor the festival’s founding folk icon.

MerleFest, presented by Window World, is proud to announce the first round of artist additions for 2023. Taking place April 27-30, 2023, on the campus of Wilkes Community College, MerleFest 2023 will feature performances from North Carolina’s favorite sons The Avett Brothers, country mega-star and Highwoman Maren Morris, the genre-weaving cultural collective Black Opry Revue. Also joining the lineup are award-winning MerleFest veterans Sam Bush, Jerry Douglas, Peter Rowan, and many more.

Seth Avett releases Seth Avett Sings Greg Brown, a tribute to the songwriting hero Avett considers “one of the finest American poets of the last 40 years.” The solo record is both an expression of admiration and gratitude, as well as a showcase for Avett’s unique abilities as a song interpreter, as he penetratingly captures the spirit, sincerity and beloved characters that populate some of Brown's best songs.

This Friday, October 14th, Seth Avett is set to release the second and final preview track from his upcoming solo album, Seth Avett Sings Greg Brown.

Beach Road Weekend has released the schedule for the 2022 Festival featuring performances by more than two dozen artists including Beck, Wilco, The Avett Brothers, and Billy Strings. The festival takes place August 26-28, 2022 at Veteran's Memorial Park in Vineyard Haven, Ma.

Beach Road Weekend has added 13-time Grammy award winning artist Emmylou Harris, Lucinda Williams, Caamp, Guster and more to its stellar lineup for the 2022 music festival. The lineup also features Beck, Wilco, The Avett Brothers, Khruangbin, Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit and more than two dozen other artists performing August 26-28, 2022 at Veterans Memorial Park on Martha’s Vineyard. The festival also announced a new round of hotel packages, including several options on Cape Cod.
