Preparations for the 2021 Main Line Bike Race and Ardmore Rock N’ Ride Music Festival are officially underway. On August 21st the family-friendly, outdoor, fundraiser event will bring the Ardmore and surrounding community together for a day of cycling, live music, food and more.

Internationally renowned CA music venue Sweetwater Music Hall is set to reopen their doors after COVID shut them in 2020. The reopening also signals the relaunch of the iconic venue featuring the new restaurant, The Rock & Rye and improvements to seating, sound and other aspects as well as an updated website in Summer 2021 after being closed for over a year.

Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award-Winner and original member of The Meters George Porter Jr. has released his compelling music video for “Crying For Hope," the title track of his recent studio album. The video's dynamic, contemplative visuals evoke the complexities of the song’s call to action.

With its trademark immersion events scheduled across the globe when the Covid-19 crisis hit in March 2020, the 501(c)(3) non-profit organization Innovative Giving Enhancement (IGE) promptly pivoted raising critical funding for musicians and creating an atmosphere to collaborate internationally via monthly Virtual Immersion Project gatherings.

Today, New Orleans funk icon George Porter Jr. and his band the Runnin' Pardners release Crying For Hope via Controlled Substance Sounds Labs and Color Red. Recorded remotely during quarantine, the 12-track album marks the funk-rock group's first full-length studio release in a decade and boasts a mix of unreleased Pardners tunes and new cuts inspired by the social justice movement.

It’s our sincerest regret to inform everyone that the Voodoo Dead show on October 7th, 2020 has been canceled. Refunds are available at the point of purchase. Tickets purchased online will be refunded automatically.

It was our intention to reschedule the shows for a later date as opposed to canceling but due to the current climate and the uncertainty of when that would be, we made the difficult decision to cancel.

Crescent City music legends George Porter, Jr., Ivan Neville, Anders Osborne and Stanton Moore will come together during the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival for 'Songbook Live' on Wednesday, April 29 at Ogden Museum of Southern Art in New Orleans. Presented by health and wellness charity 30Amp Circuit, this one night only engagement will feature four giants of New Orleans' music performing songs from throughout their individual repertoires, as well as, the music of others that has influenced them, while sharing the stories, memories and insights behind the music.
