It has been a long strange trip for the fourth annual Skull & Roses Festival. The biggest and best iteration of the festival finally took place this spring after a nearly three-year-long pandemic delay. The much-anticipated event drew the biggest crowd to date, attracting Deadheads from all over California, to the Ventura Fairgrounds, for four days of music inspired by The Grateful Dead.

The Rock and Roll Playhouse---a family concert series where kids rock out to the classics---announces a national Earth Day Weekend celebration on April 23 & 24. In historic music venues across the country, The Rock and Roll Playhouse will honor Earth Day with music by the Grateful Dead for Kids, a band who famously advocated for the well-being of our planet.

Mr. Hat Presents Melvin Seals & JGB (2 sets) with opening set by Stu Allen at the Mare Island Coal Sheds Waterfront Arts Park in Vallejo. All ages welcome. The Guitar Center Music Foundation, a nonprofit organization focused on granting instruments to music education and music therapy organizations, has collaborated with Jerry Garcia Music Arts (JGMA) and Bears for Humanity to offer new collectable items to generate funds for arts and music education programs.

Jerry Garcia's 80th Birthday Symphonic Celebration debuts a new lineup at Red Rocks on June 29th!

Some birthdays are just too big to wait to celebrate! With the world set to celebrate Jerry's 80th in August, we’ve decided to let the good times roll a little bit early this year.

The live experience is ultimate in the world of The Grateful Dead which lead the band to recording its shows from its legendary 1972 European tour. It was unknown at the time that the album would go on to become the band’s landmark live statement, a 3 LP live album, known worldwide as Europe ‘72.

In celebration of his 82nd birthday, Phil Lesh and The Capitol Theatre are gifting fans with the news that Lesh and his “Friends” are playing a 9-night extended October residency to celebrate Phil-o-Ween. The shows take place October 14 - 16, October 21 - 23, and October 28, 29, and 31. These residency shows will mark Phil's 100 show anniversary with The Cap, since 2012.
