This Friday night at the Ivy, worlds collide when DUSTY GREEN BONES BAND celebrate 9 years together with a barn-burner Jamgrass show in the tradition of Billy Strings and Greensky Bluegrass. This great band features the best banjo-ist around IMO; Isaac Cantor. Opening the show will be a new acoustic take on the Grateful Dead Songbook, TRiPLE featuring members of Lovin’ Dead on the guitar, standup bass, and… an Accordion. FUN!

Back by popular demand, we are excited to announce the return of GARCIA SONGBOOK LIVE to Ivy Room in the East Bay on Sunday January 22nd. JOE CRAVEN & DAVID GANS will lead an all-star band interpreting the Jerry Garcia Songbook like you have never heard it before. This will be an early dinner show and will feature a yummy gourmet wood-fired pizza pop-up from our friends at Hearth & Soul Pizza, or feel free to bring in dinner from your favorite neighborhood spot.

Don’t miss the ultimate Deadhead New Year’s Eve Eve Party next Fri 12/30 at the Ivy Room in the East Bay featuring Jazz Mafia’s GRATEFUL BRASS, a hornful take on the Grateful Dead songbook led by Adam Theis of Bob Weir & The Wolf Bros. Wolfpack. With an opening set of GRATEFUL GRASS with banjo master Isaac Cantor (Grateful Bluegrass Boys, Dusty Green Bones Band) and Riley Hill (One Grass Two Grass) pickin’ on the Dead.
