Joan Baez

On October 12, CRAFT RECORDINGS will re-release iconic folk singer JOAN BAEZ's self-titled debut album both on vinyl and digitally. Recorded in the summer of 1960, Joan Baez's first record introduced the world to the pure and soaring soprano of a then-19-year-old folk singer, who had recently come to prominence after the 1959 Newport Folk Festival.

Due to popular demand, Joan Baez will extend her extensive 2018 tour into 2019 including stops at D.C.’s Warner Theatre, Northampton’s John M. Greene Hall, Knoxville’s Tennessee Theatre, Austin’s Paramount Theatre and more. See below for complete tour details and on sale dates. Tickets are available for purchase at www.joanbaez.com/tour.

Whistle Down The Wind, the highly anticipated new album from Joan Baez, debuts this week at #18 on Billboard’s Top Current Albums chart and #4 on the Americana/Folk Albums chart—Baez’s strongest chart position since 1975’s Diamonds & Rust. Acclaimed artist and activist Joan Baez will begin a run of North American dates beginning on September 11 in Ithaca, NY.
