Judy Collins

Congratulations to Judy Collins for earning a Best Folk Album GRAMMY Nomination for her album Spellbound. Spellbound is a remarkable first for Collins - the “ageless wild angel of pop” according to the New York Times: while she’s released nearly 30 studio albums, Spellbound is the very first of all original, self-penned songs in her career. Collins has also been incredibly prolific in the past few years - this is her sixth full album release since 2016.

Judy Collins’ musical renaissance continues today with the release of her new album Spellbound. It has been met with tremendous support, including high-profile interviews with the New York Times for their My Ten feature which ran in the Arts & Leisure section last weekend, a Vulture Superlatives interview, and coverage from Pitchfork, Consequence of Sound, American Songwriter, and far beyond.

Judy Collins has released her new album Live At The Town Hall, NYC, today. She recorded it live at the Town Hall in New York City with a full band in February of this year, when she hosted a livestream concert from the historic and otherwise empty venue due to the pandemic. This new live recording revisits her legendary 1964 performance at the Town Hall, which was her solo concert debut in NYC.

Legendary singer songwriter Jesse Colin Young is set to release his rousing rendition of Van Morrison’s “These Dreams of You” on Friday, August 20. The single, which will be available on all streaming platforms, will be accompanied by a new music video.

“'These Dreams of You’ is a tongue in cheek look at relationships gone really wrong, and I couldn’t resist a good shuffle,” said Young.
