Levitate Music and Arts Festival

The “biggest little festival” in Massachusetts just grew a little bigger. Starting off as a humble friendly barbeque, the Levitate Music and Arts Festival has since grown into a full-fledged weekend-long festival featuring top national touring acts, expecting a draw of over 10,000 fans per day. The fifth year will see the festival running two days: Saturday, July 8th and Sunday, July 9th.

In what is endearingly called the “big little” festival, Levitate Music and Arts Festival donated over $18,000 to Boys and Girls Club of Marshfield this summer. With 10,000 attendees this year, LMF donated $1.25 per ticket sold, plus parking revenue. This is the fourth year that the festival partnered with the club and previous fundraising efforts helped to rebuild the town’s skate park.

Despite the pending rain, tickets for this year’s Levitate Music and Arts Festival (LMF) sold out a week prior to the festival. 10,000 music and art lovers came together on Saturday, July 9, 2016 to enjoy the mild weather and listen to an explosive line up.
