Today, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats confirm a run of U.S. tour dates this summer, adding to their already extensive worldwide tour. Kicking off on August 1 in Pittsburgh, Rateliff and the band will perform at Minneapolis’ Surly Brewing Festival Field, Cleveland’s Jacobs Pavilion and Raleigh’s Red Hat Amphitheater as well as multiple dates at Denver’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Chicago’s The Salt Shed and Missoula’s Kettlehouse Amphitheater. It took Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats less than five years to become one of the most recognizable new forces in contemporary rock ’n’ roll. Since 2015, Rateliff has led his denim-clad, horn-flanked Night Sweats, supplying the zeal of a whiskey-chugging Pentecostal preacher to songs about this world’s shared woes. They’ve had hits, sure, but their combustible mix of soul and rock quickly cemented them as the rare generational band who balanced ecstatic live shows with engrossing and rich records.

On Saturday, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats made their heralded return to “Austin City Limits” to perform songs off their third studio album The Future as well as some additional fan favorites. Recorded live at ACL’s home studio in Austin, the performance marks the second time the band has appeared on the Peabody Award-winning program.

Following an extensive run of worldwide dates in 2022 that included shows at New York’s Radio City Music Hall, Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl, Berkeley’s Greek Theatre and multiple nights at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats played their biggest show ever at Denver’s Ball Arena on December 16. For Rateliff and the band, the sold-out performance held special significance as it was their first ever arena show.

Anchored by headliners Kentucky native Tyler Childers and Zach Bryan, Railbird Music Festival is set to return to Lexington, KY June 3 & 4, 2023 at The Infield at Red Mile. The two-day experience will feature more than 30 artists performing across three stages, offering an unparalleled bourbon and equine experience. Last week, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats surprised the five hundred concertgoers at The Guild Theater in Menlo Park, CA with a special guest appearance from Bobby Weir. After the band’s blistering set, featuring songs from their critically acclaimed album The Future, Weir joined the group onstage for a four-song encore.

“Brandi Carlile’s Mothership Weekend” will take place in Miramar Beach, FL May 12-14. Created as an annual Mother’s Day celebration, the three-day festival created in partnership with Topeka will feature performances from Carlile, Hozier, Bonnie Raitt, Mavis Staples, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Danielle Ponder, The Milk Carton Kids, Katie Pruitt and Fancy Hagood.
