Pearl Jam

“It’s alright to be alone.

To listen for a heartbeat...

It’s your own." - “Alright”

It’s been nearly seven years since rock and roll giants Pearl Jam put out their 10th studio album, Lightning Bolt, so a follow up was long overdue. With Gigaton they prove that it was well worth the wait.

Pearl Jam will release their much-anticipated eleventh studio album, Gigaton, on Monkeywrench Records/Republic Records on March 27, 2020 in the US. Internationally, the album will be released and distributed by Universal Music Group. Produced by Josh Evans and Pearl Jam, Gigaton marks the band’s first studio album since GRAMMY award-winning Lightning Bolt, which was released on October 15, 2013.

The final day of the 2019 Ohana Music Festival greeted a large sold-out crowd with hot sunny beach weather and a stunningly diverse musical line up. The music began early on day three, just afternoon with a short set by Gretta Ray. The young Australian singer-songwriter came from her hometown, Melbourne, Australia.

Large crowds gathered early on Friday, September, 27th for the opening day of the fourth annual Ohana Music Festival. The brainchild of Eddie Vedder, the event is a carefully choreographed music and arts festival with a strong environmental message. The venue is located literally on the beach and adjacent park at Doheny Star Beach. The concert grounds and bleachers overlook the historic Doheny surfing break, which may be one of the most tranquil surfing breaks in the world.

Eddie’s tour kicks off on June 9th in Amsterdam, includes two festival headlining slots, and wraps up on July 6th in London supporting The Who.

Acclaimed guitarist Donna Grantis, best known as the co-lead guitarist in Prince’s celebrated funk-rock band 3RDEYEGIRL, has released two new songs, “TRASHFORMER” and “VIOLETTA,” as a limited edition 7” with Hall of Fame Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready via his vinyl label HockeyTalkter Records.

The third annual OHANA festival, which concluded Sunday night (9/30) and which saw more than 40,000 attendees at the beautiful Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, CA, was described by the Orange County Register as being "filled with surprises." In fact, "...the three-day event curated by Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder" (Orange County Register, 9-27-18) was led by powerful headlining sets from Eric Church (special acoustic set), Eddie Vedder and Mumford & Sons; a mix of standout collaborations throughout the weekend; while also celebrating emerging talent with performances from Plague Ven

We set out to create The Home Shows — a program of Pearl Jam’s Vitalogy Foundation to fight homelessness in King County — because we’re proud to call Seattle and the Pacific Northwest home.

Today, King County has the third-largest homeless population in the country, with more than 12,000 people experiencing homelessness. Homelessness in King County has doubled since 2014.

Pearl Jam stands with all Montanans who believe we are at our best when every voice is heard. Through grassroots organizing and mobilization we support those fighting for Montana values across all Montana communities.

Montana is home to bassist Jeff Ament who grew up in Big Sandy, went to the University of Montana, and still lives part-time in Missoula. We are excited to be back in Jeff’s home state.

Pearl Jam announced today that they will host The Home Shows -- two headlining concerts at Safeco Field on Wednesday, August 8th and Friday, August 10th.

The Home Shows mark Pearl Jam’s first hometown appearance in five years plus the largest headlining concert event in Seattle since the Rolling Stones’ two-night stint at the Kingdome in 1981.

Both shows will spotlight efforts uniting the community to help alleviate Seattle-area homelessness.
