Recorded by Rodrigo y Gabriela in their studio in Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo, Mexico, “Weird Fishes” marks the duo’s first new release since last year’s GRAMMY® Award-nominated version of Metallica’s “The Struggle Within.” Additional new music will follow later this year.

Grammy-winning guitar duo Rodrigo y Gabriela are back on the road in America from September 1, their first US shows in two years. Their plans to tour their 2019 studio album METTAVOLUTION were denied by the pandemic, and Rod and Gab spent much of lockdown in the Mexican studio space, doing regular online sessions, including one-off cover versions, old album favorites, and even vegan cookery and mindfulness classes.

The JAZZ EP will be available via Rubyworks/ATO beginning Friday, February 18 with an exclusive vinyl release, limited to just 3,000 copies worldwide, pressed on cloudy orange vinyl and individually numbered. Pre-orders are available now. The JAZZ EP will arrive on standard vinyl and at all DSPs and streaming services on Friday, May 14.

Yesterday was Pelé's 80th birthday, and acoustic guitar maestro's Rodrigo y Gabriela are celebrating the soccer legend with a song they wrote with him called "Acredita No Véio (Listen To The Old Man)," which arrived this week worldwide via Rubyworks.
