The inaugural Sacred Rose Fest is less than 2 weeks away. For the first time ever there will be a weekend full of music as diverse as the Grateful Dead in its current form. Luke Miller of the electronic jam band Lotus, performing at Sacred Rose Festival in Bridgeview, IL on August 26-28 recently called into WZRD Chicago, 88.3 FM, the Wizard. Meagan Panici chatted with him about what Lotus has been up to and what we can look forward to when they arrive in Chicago later this month.

So you’ve scored your passes to Sacred Rose Festival and you’re ready to make a game plan. Gone Gone Beyond is at noon thirty on a Friday. So you check into the Super 8 on 79th and Roberts on Thursday night before (8/25/22), and you get a pie. It’s Thirsty Thursday and there are several options for fun depending on what you're into. But first, get a pie.

Chicago is excited to host the inaugural Sacred Rose Festival on August 26 - 28, 2022. A big reason for that excitement is that Lettuce will be bringing the funk. After the release of their new album Unify, Meagan Panici caught up with Adam Deitch from Lettuce to talk about the funk, the origin of Funkateer and how the last few years have gone for them in their artistic pursuits.

Gone Gone Beyond hosts curated listening parties. There are no words, it’s simply dropping into this moment, synching the breath, releasing any tension, and arriving together full of gratitude and filled with music! Gone Gone Beyond will be kicking off the vanguard Sacred Rose Festival’s inaugural year and that sounds like freedom found within harmony!
