Tropidelic

Cleveland locals turned national touring sensation, Tropidelic has prioritized their art and ambition above all else. An amalgamation of Reggae, Funk, Hip-Hop, and the onstage energy every artist should strive to embody, the project has become an undeniable force in the community. Grateful Web got the chance to sit down with the project’s frontmen Matthew Roads and James Begin at this year’s Cali Roots Festival to talk about their process, their evolution as artists, and even their venture into the music promotion sphere.

Amidst the sun-kissed palm trees and the gentle ocean breeze, the Cali Vibes Festival reached its zenith on Day 3, leaving attendees with an unforgettable musical journey. The festival grounds buzzed with anticipation and excitement as the final day unfolded, setting the stage for an epic conclusion.

Cleveland Ohio might not be the reggae capital of the world, but the grit and determination to establish themselves despite locational barriers made the men of Tropidelic all the more eager to make their dream a reality. From dorm room project to a nationally touring band, their momentum shows no sign of slowing down.

Cleveland, OH's Tropidelic dropped their new album, 'Heavy Is The Head', their first for Pepper's LAW Records, today, November 10. Featuring 10 tracks of the band's signature mix of reggae, hip-hop and high energy funk, the album is available for pre-order, which includes an instant download of the song "Hey Now."
