Last week, Victor Wooten, Steve Bailey and Derico Watson wrapped up their Bass Extremes Tour with a four night blow out in the Centennial State. Landing everywhere but the southwest and west coast in a 21-night-in-27-days run from October into November, the trio hit Fort Collins, Manitou Springs, Denver, and finally Boulder in consecutive performances to close it all out.

GRAMMY® Award-nominated songwriter, producer, and guitarist extraordinaire Cory Wong has announced plans for a unique two-legged collaborative tour – his biggest US headline tour thus far. THE POWER STATION TOUR kicks off with an upcoming Fall run that will see Wong joined by Sierra Hull and Robbie Wulfsohn (of Ripe), beginning November 2 at The Truman in Kansas City, MO, and continuing through the month.

Victor Wooten is a 5-time Grammy Award winner and a founding member of the supergroup Béla Fleck and the Flecktones. He has been called the most influential bassist of the last 2 decades and was listed as one of the Top Ten Bassists of All Time by Rolling Stone Magazine. Wooten was also the winner of Bass Player Magazine's reader poll 3 times and remains the only person to have won it more than once. Having released multiple solo recordings, he is also the author of the widely read novel The Music Lesson: A Spiritual Search for Growth Through Music.

Folksinger Michael Johnathon’s WoodSongs Old Time Radio Hour continues taping its new season of shows at Lexington’s Lyric Theatre in September, welcoming to the stage Blues legend, Bobby Rush (Sept. 20), singer-songwriter Carsie Blanton & folk singer-songwriter Joe Troop (Sept. 13), and five-time Grammy winner Victor Wooten (Sept. 27), founding member of Bela Fleck and the Flecktones.

The Wooten Brothers are coming together to celebrate the Holiday season! Regi, Roy, Joseph, and Victor, will celebrate with music, wisdom, and memories Streaming Live from "Rudy's Jazz Room", named after their middle brother this Saturday, December 19th at 8 pm CST-9 pm EST.

On August 11th, Victor Wooten Trio came back once again full force to Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom with Roosevelt Collier to amaze their audience once again. As many of you probably know, Victor Wooten holds a reputation as one of the best bassists in the world. By his side, outstanding drummer Dennis Chambers, & powerful saxophonist Bob Franceshini, made for an excellent show.

Béla Fleck & The Flecktones started out in 1988 when Béla put the band together for a TV show called The Lonesome Pine Specials. 30 years later, the original lineup is heading out on the road for 13 shows this Summer. 

Five-time GRAMMY award-winning bass player, producer, composer, author, and educator Victor Wooten will release his first album in five years, TRYPNOTYX, September 8. In support of the album, he will hit the road with the Victor Wooten Trio this fall following August dates with Béla Fleck & The Flecktones of which he is a founding member.
