Each year, during Memorial Day weekend, the Desert Rocks Music Festival is held at the majestic BFE Ranch, located 10 miles south of Moab. This stellar location for camping and music showcases the breathtaking natural beauty of Utah. The ranch backs up to the La Sal Mountains and boasts its own slot canyon.

"There have been some good times, some hard times, some crazy times, some wild road times, some times where people have passed....but it's good to just keep walking" proclaims guitarist/vocalist Vince Herman before the band launches into their original "Just Keep Walking" from their recently released concert DVD Leftover Salmon Live: Twice in a Blue Moon.

Howdy Halloween freakers, Vince Herman here! The Salmon are swimming into the Fillmore again for a wild night of music, costumes, debauchery and late night parading down Colfax!

Great American Taxi, which features Leftover Salmon frontman Vince Herman is gearing up to release their sophomore effort "Reckless Habits." With the official release date yet to be announced Taxi has decided to offer up a free download of "Unpromised Land" (labeled as "Whiskey" on a lot of Taxi bootlegs from the past couple of years) from their latest studio work, which was recorded in December of 2008 and produced by Railroad Earth's Tim Carbone.

Last Saturday night was a regular jamfest down at the Boulder Theater, and something like a showcase of local mountain bluegrass scene.  The evening's festivities featured the likes of Great American Taxi, the Emmitt Nershi Band, Oakhurst, the Jefferson Hamer,
