Not many bands can claim genuine legend status. The Wailers comfortably claim their place in essential music history. Their music was, and is, culture-defining: rebel hearts with brave souls embodying the spirit of 70s era-defining reggae.

On Wednesday, Dec. 22 at 10 a.m. PST, acclaimed singer and solo artist Elan Atias will release his new music video for “You Are Not Alone,” an anthem of empathy and hope inspired by the ongoing homelessness and mental health challenges in his hometown of Los Angeles.

The former lead singer of The Wailers, whose previous solo works have been featured on soundtracks for HBO’s Sex and the City and the hit movie 50 First Dates, released the heart-warming single Nov. 19 to tease his forthcoming 2022 EP.

Tuesday, April 20th will officially commemorate "International Peter Tosh Day” (aka #PeterTosh420) – a virtual festival paying tribute to legendary reggae artist and cannabis activist, Peter Tosh.

#PeterTosh420 honors its namesake, the Grammy®️ award-winning, founding member of The Wailers. Highly regarded for his dedication to equality, Peter Tosh launched anti-apartheid campaigns, advocated for African liberation, and became an influential voice for the voiceless.

We all knew we were in for a treat, as we’d be welcoming to the stage Aston Barrett Jr., son of Aston “Family Man” Barrett and nephew to the late Carlton Barrett, in whose honor he plays the drums.

Most people are aware of the fact that The Wailers are a reggae band that was at one point led by the greatest reggae artist of all-time, Bob Marley. After his passing in 1981, the band decided to spread his messages and continue to inspire people in his honor. Thank goodness that they prevailed, and the band founded by Marley, Peter Tosh, and Bunny Livingston lives on. Bassist, Aston “Family Man” Barrett, has been a constant in the band from the beginning with Marley to the present, and he even added his son, Aston Barrett Jr. to play drums currently.
