BeachLife Festival is excited to announce their return in 2021. The ‘first of its kind’ coastal event in Los Angeles is happening September 10-12, 2021 on Redondo Beach’s Watefront, after multiple postponements due to the COVID-19 pandemic. BeachLife Festival was created to celebrate the Southern California beach lifestyle, where live music is synonymous with sunshine and toes in the sand. Festival Managing Partner Allen Sanford stated: “With cautious optimism, and eyes wide open, we have begun the massive process of rebuilding BeachLife -- both because we are ready to get back to work, and because we feel strongly that live music & togetherness is essential to the recovery of our Community. As the marquee festival in Los Angeles, BeachLife Festival aims to be a catalyst towards actively contributing to the recovery of our great city.”

The inaugural BeachLife Festival received glowing feedback from fans and critics alike. Iconic headliners Brian Wilson, Bob Weir and Willie Nelson, played alongside artists who are synonymous with the SoCal lifestyle, Ziggy Marley, Violent Femmes, Steel Pulse, Slightly Stoopid and more. Beyond the celebration of California’s rich music scene, BeachLife also played host to a “remarkable” (Forbes) culinary experience featuring a SideStage pop-up restaurant and celebrity chefs. In 2020, BeachLife was on pace to an early sellout, with headliners Counting Crows and Steve Miller Band leading the billing. The festival has yet to announce its September 2021 lineup, but Co-Founder Rob Lissner noted that he believes it will be “the best recipe for a good time they’ve ever put together.”

The City of Redondo Beach has been supportive of the Festival, and Mayor Bill Brand of the city of Redondo Beach was thrilled to hear the news, noting he was “so happy to see that BeachLife will be part of our new normal. If you love live music and a good time, this will be the place to be!”

Important to the planning is the careful safety and health planning as it relates to COVID-19. BeachLife will be teaming up with Beach Cities Health District (BCHD), and following protocols outlined by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health to ensure COVID-19 guidelines and standards are implemented at the festival, and people can have a good time in a safe and healthy environment.

“As our community prepares to reopen, BCHD’s goal is to be a local health resource and support the health and safety of our community,” said Tom Bakaly, CEO of BCHD. “We are committed to supporting The BeachLife Festival and collaborating with cities and chambers of commerce through the reopening process and recovery.”

BeachLife Festival will release a first limited run of tickets starting April 12th on their website and a refund period for those ticket buyers that can no longer attend will be opened soon. The BeachLife Festival will be located at 137 N. Harbor Drive, Redondo Beach, CA 90277. #WeLiveTheBeachLife.
