Pearl Jam announced today that Bonneville Environmental Foundation (BEF) was selected as one of nine non-profit organizations to receive a combined total of $100,000 to launch its 2006 Carbon Portfolio Strategy. The band's initiative is the latest demonstration of its commitment to solve global warming and provide information to music fans worldwide about what they can do to reduce their carbon footprint. The band also is inviting its fans to make their own contributions in support of the initiative, as a way of taking action against climate change.

BEF and the other organizations were selected according to their advancement of approaches to develop clean, renewable energy options and other climate change solutions.

"We looked for partners to put our contributions towards the greatest use in combating global climate change," said Pearl Jam's Stone Gossard. "BEF was an obvious choice when we considered the renewable energy component."

Pearl Jam has been a supporter of BEF since the 2004 Vote for Change tour, when Gossard organized some of the participating bands to fund the installation of small-scale renewable energy projects in many of the states where it toured. In addition to Pearl Jam and Gossard, participants included Bonnie Raitt, The Dave Matthews Band, and REM. BEF's role was to identify the Vote for Change beneficiary projects, and to manage the ongoing installation efforts.

"With the Vote for Change initiative, Pearl Jam helped BEF expand the scope of its renewable energy programs to reach new audiences in the Midwest, Southeast, and Eastern states," said Tom Starrs, Vice President of Marketing and Sales & Chief Operating Officer of Bonneville Environmental Foundation. "With the Carbon Portfolio Strategy, Pearl Jam is helping BEF reach an even broader audience with the message that it's easy to take action today to make our energy supply cleaner, safer, and more secure. BEF will use the contributions from Pearl Jam's Carbon 2006 Portfolio Strategy to support its renewable energy initiatives, including its Green Tag programs. BEF's Green Tag programs enable individuals, businesses, and other organizations to offset their carbon footprint by supporting renewable energy projects that deliver solar and wind power into the nation's power grid.

Eddie Vedder will release a solo album, Ukulele Songs, on Tuesday, May 31st (May 30th internationally) through Pearl Jam's Monkeywrench Records. Ukulele Songs is a collection of original songs and covers performed by Vedder on ukulele. The first single from the album, "Longing to Belong," will be available for sale through digital retailers on Tuesday, March 22nd (March 21st internationally).

Also released on May 31st is Water on the Road, a live-concert DVD directed by Brendan Canty of Fugazi and Christoph Green featuring performances from Vedder’s August 16 and 17, 2008 solo tour engagements at Washington, D.C.'s Warner Theatre. The 32nd Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, presented by Klipsch Audio, will take place on Friday, April 7, 2017 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York for the third time. Ticket on-sale dates will be announced in January. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2017 Induction Ceremony will again have its television premiere on HBO, and a radio broadcast on SiriusXM. Broadcast details will be announced in early 2017.

A limited number of pre-sale tickets will be available for Rock & Roll Hall of Fame members in advance of the public sale date. To be eligible for the member pre-sale, you must be an active Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member by December 31, 2016. The special exhibition on the 2017 Inductees will open at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland on March 30.

Artists are eligible for inclusion in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 25 years after the release of their first recording. The 2017 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Performer Inductees were chosen by more than 900 voters of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation, as well as the aggregate results of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s online fan vote. The top five artists from the fan vote comprised the fans’ ballot that was tallied along with the other ballots to determine the 2017 Inductees. Four of the groups from fans’ ballot (Electric Light Orchestra, Journey, Pearl Jam, and YES) will be inducted as performers in 2017.

We are happy to announce that Eddie Vedder will perform a series of European concert dates in May and June. The tour kicks off on May 29th in Amsterdam and wraps up on June 26th in Sicily. These concert dates include his previously announced headlining slot at Firenze Rocks Festival in Florence (full routing below).

Special guest Glen Hansard will join Eddie for these shows.

The Home Shows mark Pearl Jam’s first hometown appearance in five years plus the largest headlining concert event in Seattle since the Rolling Stones’ two-night stint at the Kingdome in 1981.

Both shows will spotlight efforts uniting the community to help alleviate Seattle-area homelessness.

A year after postponing the 2020 tour, it remains difficult to again postpone getting back on the road. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of No Code, Pearl Jam is reissuing the album on 150-gram vinyl. A limited edition clear vinyl version is available exclusively at pearljam.com.

This marks the first time the album will be available in this format since its original release as well as the first time the album has been mastered specifically for vinyl by Grammy Award-winning engineer Bob Ludwig. The No Code reissue LP features recreations of the original packaging, including the set of nine replica Polaroids/lyric cards.

Due to overwhelming demand, Ohana Festival will be holding an Encore Weekend taking place Friday, October 1st - Saturday, October 2nd at Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, California.

Pearl Jam is excited to announce that they will be headlining both nights of the 2-day Encore Weekend. The Ohana Encore Weekend marks Pearl Jam's only additional concerts for 2021. Pearl Jam's 2020 North American tour dates are expected to be rescheduled for early 2022. All tickets will be honored for the new show dates. At this year’s Ohana Festival, Eddie Vedder performed his single "Long Way” for the first time during his festival headlining set.

Eddie Vedder and bandmates the Earthlings are announcing a February 2022 US Tour to kick off the release of Vedder’s highly anticipated album, Earthling. The shows will begin on February 3rd in New York City and will finish in Seattle, WA on February 22nd. Special guest Glen Hansard will open the shows.

After two years, Pearl Jam will hit the road with their 2020 North American tour dates officially rescheduled for May and September 2022, including four newly added shows in Fresno, Sacramento, Camden, and Las Vegas. Josh Klinghoffer’s solo project, Pluralone, will open for Pearl Jam on this tour. Klinghoffer will also join Pearl Jam as a touring member on these dates.
