For over four decades, chart-topping singer/songwriter Gary Brewer has turned heads with his hard-driving sound and attention-capturing voice, which encompasses a variety of Bluegrass, Roots and Gospel influences. In celebration of the momentous milestone, Gary Brewer & The Kentucky Ramblers are excited to announce the commencement of their 40th Anniversary Celebration Tour, which will take place throughout 2020. It includes stops throughout the United States, along with appearances in Europe.

“We’re so geared up and excited about the 40-year celebration. Hard to believe it has been 40 years since I started as a professional artist running up-and-down the roads performing,” says Gary Brewer. “It is such a blessing to tour with my two sons and my father. Three generations of Brewer’s on the stage every night across the country is just simply awesome. Fans can expect a high energy and entertaining show chuck-full of Bluegrass, vintage Country, Americana, Gospel and Old Time Mountain Music, covering my original / signature songs, along with six generations of Brewer repertoire. I have even been known to throw in an Elvis tune or two…”

Lead singer Gary Brewer has garnered attention and gained respect from some of the biggest names of all-time across multiple music genres. Having recorded and toured with music icons like Bill Monroe, J.D. Crowe, Uncle Josh Graves, Doyle Lawson, Larry Sparks and Dave Evans, that inspiration is on full display in the band’s unique style. At one point, he even got the attention of late Country maverick Porter Wagner, who said “Gary Brewer has a great group, works hard on his act and is an excellent Bluegrass singer." ‘Father of Bluegrass’ Bill Monroe was also once quoted as saying, “This boy right here is 100% Bluegrass! He comes from good stock.”

The tour will see the award-winning band taking their one-of-a-kind stage show to venues and festivals coast-to-coast in the United States. Brewer and company are also excited to announce some very special tour dates in Europe, which will take place in May. Including stops in Denmark, Germany, Luxembourg, Switzerland and England, there are plenty of opportunities for international audiences to catch an upcoming show (see full schedule below). The dates will follow the conclusion of their residency in Simpsonville, Kentucky at Brewgrass Entertainment, which has 11 more shows.

As the celebration continues, Gary Brewer & The Kentucky Ramblers have several other surprises in store, including new music coming soon. In addition to a new single, a full-length album will accompany it, and there is no shortage of star-power on the project. Gary Brewer & The Kentucky Ramblers are charging into 2022 with a brand new single. The band is excited to reveal their latest recording “Pass Along The Good,” featuring multi-Grammy winning Americana music icon Jim Lauderdale. The two came together to co-write the new tune which showcases a different side of GBKR’s music, channeling a Country / Americana oriented sound. It’s available for download and streaming now via SGM Records (Stretch Grass Music). Check it out HERE.

“Jim and I were performing together in Kentucky and reminiscing in my bus; just talking about life and so forth,” explains Gary Brewer. “I mentioned 'Hey! You know we need to pass along the good to everyone.' Immediately Jim said, 'Wow! That’s a great line!' So he wrote it down and after the concert, we made arrangements for him to come by our studio the next afternoon. We sat down, wrote, and recorded the song. I have admired Jim‘s work for years and it was an honor to write and record with him.”

The new single spreads a message of all things positive. These hitmakers have come together to create the uplifting feel-good Americana anthem of the season. It can be interpreted a number of different ways, with the title behind the track being the main message, which is to “Pass Along The Good.” Over the years, Gary Brewer & The Kentucky Ramblers have explored multiple genres, notably with their critically-acclaimed project Vintage Country Revival. With the latest release, they’re taking that one step further by introducing a Country twang that pays tribute to much of the sound the genre was built upon. It premiered exclusively on Glide Magazine, who added that “More than most, Gary Brewer & The Kentucky Ramblers have an authentic knack for honky tonk twang…”

“I really appreciate Gary Brewer & the Kentucky Ramblers for letting me come and visit their musical world,” says Jim Lauderdale. “They’ve got a great thing going and are deeply rooted in tradition which is so needed out there. It was such a pleasure to write with Gary and have him and the Kentucky Ramblers add their special touch when recording it."

It’s the first offering of new music since the band’s chart-topping success 40th Anniversary Celebration. In addition to receiving critical-acclaim from publications like American Songwriter, Thrive Global, Authority Magazine, Country Rebel, The Boot and countless others, it was also a huge hit on the Billboard charts. In total, it spent an astonishing 16 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Bluegrass Albums Chart, additionally being the No. 3 best-selling project overall in 2021 (only behind two Sturgill Simpson projects). It was supported by an innovative tour which saw the group strategically navigating through the pandemic era.

Critically-acclaimed American Roots music group Gary Brewer & The Kentucky Ramblers (GBKR) have taken the next step in event promotion. In addition to opening up their own music venue, hosting a bi-annual festival, and holding a winter concert series for 5 years, GBKR has launched their non-profit organization “Brewgrass Entertainment, INC.” Shortly after the launch, Gary and the boys partnered with the City of Louisville, Louisville Parks and Recreation, and the Iroquois Amphitheater to put on a free-to-the-public community event. With multiple genres of music and through vast cultural diversity the goal was to allow healing simply to bring the community together by celebrating the universal language of music.

As one of Louisville’s biggest hometown success stories, the group agreed to offer their vast amount of unique industry connections (and entertainment value) to create a diverse one-off style evening of live music. The event hosted multiple live musical performances of various genres/groups/guest(s). Brewgrass Entertainment INC. donated their time/personnel to coordinate the event and incurred all costs associated.

Critically-acclaimed recording artist Nathan Stanley is excited for the release of his breathtaking new Country single, “Sandy Ridge Wind” (download and/or stream it HERE). Its lyrics reminisce on relatives of the iconic family who have passed, including the Dove winner’s Grandfather Dr. Ralph Stanley. It’s the lead single from a very special collection dropping this spring called Nathan Stanley Live!

“Sandy Ridge Wind” is a tune that was written by Kerry Belcher, with Nathan’s story heavily influencing the recording. It also includes a chilling line about Nathan’s future grave as well, which is a part of the site. All along, the sandy ridge wind is what helps the Grammy-nominated singer remember all of the years spent with his family and brighter days.

The new single is the first taste of what fans can expect on the upcoming traditional Country album Nathan Stanley Live! In total, the project features 16 total songs - 12 live recordings and four new studio cuts. This marks Nathan’s tenth overall album, with his music beginning at a very young age of two-years-old debuting at the legendary Grand Ole Opry, where he played the spoons alongside Dr. Ralph Stanley and The Clinch Mountain Boys.
