After taking a brief hiatus from touring to compose film scores for the Woodstock Film Festival selected documentary, Catskill Park as well as HBO’s I Wanna See You and Call to Action, Anthony, now 34, sees the world through a more focused lens. “Scoring was invaluable to my evolution as a songwriter,” he says, “but I grew to miss telling my own stories.”

Swedish producer Carl Garsbo, better known as Kasbo performed a marathon of a night on November 30th at San Francisco’s Mezzanine spanning two separate sets prompted by the community’s unwavering devotion. As his most recent “Places we Don’t Know Tour: Part 2” stopped by the Bay Area, his fans immediately illustrated their support. A second, earlier set was added to San Francisco’s agenda to accommodate the high demand of a first performance that sold out almost immediately.

Mike Doughty is very pleased to announce that in celebration of 25th anniversary of the release of Soul Coughing’s debut LP Ruby Vroom he has decided to perform the record in full at dates all across the U.S.A. The tour begins February 20th at The Basement in Nashville, TN.

Béla Fleck’s second annual Blue Ridge Banjo Camp will be held at the Brevard Music Center in Brevard, NC on August 14-18, 2019. The camp will feature 3 days and 4 nights of diverse banjo instruction by Béla himself alongside a cast of world class banjo players/instructors. The week will culminate with the Blue Ridge banjo finale concert held in the beautiful Whittington-Pfohl Auditorium. The instructional focus will be on the three distinct styles of three-finger banjo playing: Scruggs, melodic, and single string.

U.S.-based British singer-songwriter Bobby Long's love of The Beatles is evident on his forthcoming new album SULTANS, due from Compass Records on March 1, 2019. ON Sunday December 2, from 1:00-7:00 p.m., Out of the Fire Benefit presents a concert of live music performed by artists featured on the “Out of the Fire” benefit CD. The album, Out of the Fire, a CD of original music and cover tunes was created to help heal survivors of the 2017 fires. All proceeds are donated to the replacement and repair of musical instruments lost or damaged in the fire.
