The Big Weekend will take over the city of Chicago for three nights this weekend, October 4 – 6, featuring performances from hometown heroes Umphrey’s McGee celebrating their 20th year, Lettuce, Emancipator Ensemble, Leftover Salmon, Papadosio, The Revolution, and more, at the Riviera Theatre, Aragon Ballroom, Park West, House of Blues, and Concord Music Hall. 

The Silent Comedy have released “Enemies Multiply” the title track from the forthcoming album due out 10/19.

Multi-Grammy Award-winning artists Robert Sput Searight and Nate Werth launched their powerhouse ensemble of Ghost-Note back in 2015, but 2018 marks the first year the band is heading overseas. This November, Searight and Werth take their eclectic ensemble – comprised of  Dywane “MonoNeon” Thomas Jr. (bass),  Xavier Taplin (keys), Vaughn “V-Keys” Henry (keys), Peter Knudsen (guitar) and Jonathan Mones (alto sax & flute) alongside Werth and Sput – across Europe.

The Guess Who is responsible for countless rock classics, which still retain a major presence on rock radio - “American Woman,” “No Time,” “These Eyes,” etc. The band is set to return on September 14th with their latest album, ‘The Future IS What It Used To Be’, released via Cleopatra Records (available in CD, Vinyl, and Digital formats). 

It’s been a year of quality releases from veteran Austin-based artist and area favorite Bob Schneider: the April release of single “Making It Up” (which pop artist and longtime Schneider fan Jason Mraz also released on his latest album, Know.) prefaced June’s Blood & Bones - a thirteen-song collection of stories mapped out by some of Schneider’s latest life improvements, including his marriage and the birth of his daughter.

If you’ve ever thought bluegrass is a thing of the past, it’s possible you’re about to have a change of heart. Described as “the next generation of bluegrass,” jam-infused bluegrass band, South Hill Banks, is set to release their debut single, "Movin' On My Mind" on September 21st followed by their first album as a five-piece band on October 26th; recent Floyd Fest "On The Rise" winners, they have shared the stage with renown artists including Billy Strings, Zach Deputy and Larry King, charming audiences with their unstoppable energy.

The soulful powerhouse ensemble known throughout the Northeast as West End Blend has shared fall 2018 tour details. "This tour stands to be one of our most exciting tours to date," shares Sam Horan, the band's drummer. "We’re visiting some brand new cities and we look forward to expanding that WEB family!"

The multi-talented, Austin based artist David Messier is set to release his sophomore album this fall.
