Seemingly everywhere during women’s month are festival line ups coming out that boast of over half of the acts are female. Efforts to see females represented and reflecting the true population of society are growing ever present in the hearts and minds of music lovers.  Will these festivals simply stretch out the current all-female bands available or will they continue to create an atmosphere that will be welcoming for new women musicians to join the party? As more and more women dominated acts grow to visibility, one such contender is Fox Crossing String Band.

Cliffs + Caves announce the release of their EP, Capsize, on all major streaming platforms on February 15, 2019. Partnering with producer Chris Jacobie (Penny and Sparrow, Jarrod Dickenson, Duncan Fellows), the duo has created a five song exploration of the musical ingenuity that is created when artistry runs in the family.

Punk reggae rockers Bumpin Uglies have announced that they will be releasing a new studio EP entitled Buzz. The EP, in conjunction with Ineffable Music Group’s label arm Ineffable Records, will be available on all digital outlets on March 22, 2019.

The Fritz, a soul driven dance rock band hailing from Asheville, NC, have just released a ProShot video of their song “Nothing to Find” from The Orange Peel in Asheville, NC filmed earlier this month while they were on the road supporting Pigeons Playing Ping Pong. "Every night of our recent tour with Pigeons Playing Ping Pong was incredible”, says guitarist Jamie Hendrickson, "but coming home to Asheville for a sold out show at the legendary Orange Peel was certainly the highlight!

An independent Grateful Dead tribute band will perform two free concerts at the Green Door Pub in Stratton Village Resort Friday and Saturday, March 1 and 2.

Dead Meat, a Hudson Valley-based tribute band, returns to this Southern Vermont venue for its fourth and fifth performances there, respectively.

The band recently played at Green Door Pub in December 2018, following a performance by Mihali (from Vermont jam band Twiddle), part of the venue's Rocking For Rob charity weekend of live music.

The Bucket List is the collective effort of guitar extraordinaire Phil Keaggy, legendary bassist Tony Levin and rhythm master Jerry Marotta featuring 12 original instrumentals that showcase the strengths of these three musicians.
