Forty Below Records today just released a special 2-LP gatefold vinyl version of the second set of previously unavailable live recordings from newly-elected Blues Hall of Fame inductee John Mayall and his classic 1967 Bluesbreakers band, titled John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers– Live in 1967- Volume Two.

Money Chicha is an Austin, Texas based group featuring members of the Grammy-award winning Latin orchestra Grupo Fantasma and its offshoot funk outfit Brownout which performs a fuzzed-out, reverb-drenched and percussion-heavy style of music inspired by the sounds of Peru and Colombia in the 60s and 70s. This style of music, sometimes called “chicha” music, is known for its infectious Latin beat, its psychedelic, surf guitar pyrotechnics and its melodies influenced by the indigenous culture of the Andes mountains.

This summer, STEVE AOKI brings it back to the dance floor as he unleashes his dark, club-oriented opus 4OKI (Dim Mak).

Certainly, the most exciting news for long-time YES fans was the recent announcement that three of the group’s best known past members, singer Jon Anderson, guitarist Trevor Rabin, and keyboardist Rick Wakeman - ARW - have united and will be embarking on a world tour starting in early October (October 4th in Orlando, Florida at Hard Rock Live) running through the spring of 2017.

Electronic outfit, Jaw Gems, is a Portland, Maine-based collective of young, experimental producers bringing beat-music—traditionally programmed and played on samplers—to a live band setting. On August 26, Jaw Gems will release their second album, HEATWEAVER via STS9’s 1320 Records.

Funk-flash masters The Motet out of Denver, CO are releasing TOTEM on July 8, 2016, the 7th LP since their inception in 1998.  The Motet consists of Dave Watts (drums), Garrett Sayers (bass), Joey Porter (keyboards), Ryan Jalbert (guitar), Gabriel Mervine (trumpet), and Drew Sayers (saxophone), and recently added Lyle Divinsky (vocals) with TOTEM being his first album with the group
