Ross James has spent the last decade on the bandstand at Terrapin Crossroads and traveling the world with Phil Lesh of the Grateful Dead. Along the way he's shared the stage with John Scofield, Warren Haynes, Bob Weir, Jim James, John Mayer and many more.  For this incredibly special show he's assembled an all star band to keep the party going after Dead & Co.

With the addition of Hammond B3 organ, pedal steel and fiddle, the band plays every card. They waltz through tender three-part harmony ballads before inciting two-steppin’, beer-slingin’ dance parties that have placed them in venues with modern-day honky-tonk heroes like Whitey Morgan and Jesse Dayton, as well as soon-to-be household names like Paul Cauthen and Zephaniah Ohora.

Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, John Mayer, Bob Weir, Oteil Burbridge and Jeff Chimenti - announces its 2022 Summer Tour.

Sorry to report Dead and Company have now cancelled their upcoming shows in Mexico.  With the recent news John Mayer has contracted Covid-19 and Billy Kreutzmann staying home to rest up it seemed almost inevitable the shows might not happen.

Now we'll standby until we get some updates on how John and Billy are doing and hopefully some big summer tour news in the coming weeks.

John Mayer has reportedly tested positive for COVID-19 and will have to miss Dead & Company's upcoming shows in Mexico.  Stepping in for Mayer will be Tom Hamilton, who has played with Bobby, Oteil, Billy, and even Phil before. Hamilton is also one of the two guitarists in Joe's Russo's Almost Dead.  Hamilton from the Philly area will not need help with the band's repertoire and should be ready to go from the opener -- the band is also planning to add some vocal assistance by Margo Price.

Oteil Burbridge, two-time Grammy Award-winning bassist of The Allman Brothers and Dead & Company, has officially launched Join the Ozone, a new education app that includes monthly LIVE calls with Oteil, pre-recorded courses including: 6 Levels of Harmony training, Rhythm and Philosophy training, never before heard stories, tips and tricks on surviving on the road, and so much more.

The location was the perfect backdrop for the multi-million dollar multimedia extravaganza that accompanies a live Dead and Company performance.

For Deadheads across the land, this has been a wonderful week to be in Colorado. Tuesday night, Dead and Company kicked off the first of four Denver Area shows to take place in the Centennial State. Originally scheduled as just two performances at Fiddler’s Green in Englewood, the band announced mid-September that they were adding two more shows at the famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
