Rusted Root

The long-awaited 23rd Rhythm & Roots Music, Dance and Food Festival will resume Sept. 3-5 at Ninigret Park with much-loved headliners, a jam band extravaganza, festival fan favorites and new voices that reflect the always-changing nature of roots music.

World-famous rock group, The Spin Doctors, will be playing the Wellmont Theater in Montclair, N.J., on Friday, Jan. 24. They’ll be joined by The Uprooted Band featuring Michael Glabicki of Rusted Root, along with James Maddock.

Sweetwater and Even Keel Event Productions proudly presents multi-platinum touring act Rusted Root live in concert on Tuesday, August 29th at the Sweetwater Performance Pavilion located in Fort Wayne, Indiana along with special guests Earphorik.

As the sun set on Disney World on Oct. 20, nighttime was dawning at the House of Blues on the west end of the park’s Disney Springs (formerly Downtown Disney). And there, along Lake Buena Vista, adjacent to Wolfgang Puck’s Grand Café, a giant Cirque du Soleil tent, and the DisneyQuest Emporium, Rusted Root performed a pleasing, passionate set of joyous jamming.

Perhaps at the most simple level musicians view it as their job to deliver the music their fans love them for and to put on a good, entertaining live performance. Beyond that however, making and performing music is about much more. For world jam rockers Rusted Root, this means a new devotion to consciousness, focus, and discovering the vibe and light of being for both themselves and their community of fans.

The Rex Foundation is pleased to announce that tickets are now on sale for the Rex Benefit The Wheel - A Musical Celebration of Jerry Garcia, taking place on Saturday, March 24th at the The Hamilton in downtown Washington, DC, featuring New Riders of the Purple Sage, Jesse McReynolds with Garret McReynolds and Steve Thomas, and 

After much coordination and navigation, our group celebrated the successful creation of a small tent/popup, tapestry and solar light embellished village by partaking in a few ice cold libations before heading toward the music. As we walked in the dark down the windy dirt road in the direction of deep rooted bass and canopy swinging melodies, a myriad of bioluminescent extensions of the forest helped to light our way.
