The String Cheese Incident

"One of the biggest contributors to the songbook of the American people, not to mention all over the world. The biggest heart and an ability to turn a phrase like no one else. Thank you John! Love, SCI"

Colorful, charismatic, and often found concocting his next blissful beer creation, keyboardist Kyle Hollingsworth has been hard at work. At the same time his band, The String Cheese Incident, takes some well-deserved time off from their relentlessly busy touring schedule.

Amid a six-month touring break from The String Cheese Incident, Kyle Hollingsworth decided to branch out and develop some musical ideas on his own.  What resulted was five musically diverse and energetic songs including a rousing cover of Vampire Weekend’s “Step.”

The String Cheese Incident just expanded their summer tour through several new tour stops announced. New dates include Sandy Amphitheater in Sandy, UT (June 17-18), and the KettleHouse Amphitheater in Bonner, MT (June 19-20).

The String Cheese Incident has announced their annual Colorado amphitheater Incidents at Dillon Amphitheater and Red Rocks Amphitheatre.  Joining SCI at Red Rocks will be Tower of Power on Friday, Papadosio on Saturday and Leftover Salmon on Sunday.

The Fox Theatre (Boulder), and Kyle Hollingsworth are throwing an epic birthday bash and EP release party on March 6th.  The party will feature Kyle Hollingsworth Band and The Magic Beans plus some special guest appearances and special beer for the evening. Tickets are on sale now!

The Infamous Stringdusters kicked off 2020 in extraordinary fashion with a SOLD OUT show at Denver, CO's Mission Ballroom Saturday night, January 11. Denver's own Trout Steak Revival provided opening duties.

Kyle Hollingsworth has released his new single “Tufnel's Retreat,” the first track off the forthcoming EP 2020 due out in February. The song premiered exclusively via Relix earlier this week.

It takes a hell of a lot to get me to brave the absolute sardine-pack that is a sold-out Ogden Theatre in Denver for 3 consecutive nights. There are very few bands that would warrant something like that but Billy Strings is up there at the top of the shortlist.  Over the course of a cold weekend in December, the city of Denver was lucky enough to get to take part in the only three-night run of Billy Strings’ fall tour.

For the second year in a row, Electric Forest (EF) breaks its own record, selling out under one hour from the start of public on sale this morning. The beloved music and camping festival, which celebrates its 10th anniversary June 25-28, 2020 in Rothbury, Michigan, is well known for the unparalleled passion and loyalty of its fans.
