The String Cheese Incident are set to return to Red Rocks Amphitheatre in 2026, continuing one of Colorado’s most beloved annual traditions. The band’s multi-night stand at the iconic Morrison venue has long been a cornerstone of their summer calendar—a gathering where the full spectrum of SCI’s creativity, community spirit, and improvisational energy comes to life under the sandstone monoliths.

For decades, The String Cheese Incident have championed a uniquely fan-first approach: opening companies of their own—including a ticketing company, a merchandise company, and a fan travel agency—to better serve and directly connect with their community. Their independent label, SCI Fidelity Records, operates with the same philosophy.
Even early in their career, SCI Fidelity embraced downloadable music and file sharing, pioneering the “On The Road” series, where every show the band plays is made available for download. Whether they realized it at the time or not, The String Cheese Incident were inventing grassroots band development—a model now used by hundreds of artists to cultivate loyal fan communities.
Their commitment stretches far beyond music. The band has consistently supported sustainability and community initiatives, becoming early champions of “Green” shows and tours. Their outreach helped fuel the growth of nonprofits such as Conscious Alliance and HeadCount, both of which remain deeply connected to the band’s ethos and fanbase.
