Robin Trower is marking a major milestone with Robin Trower – Live! (50th Anniversary Edition), a definitive expansion of the guitarist’s landmark live document that finally opens the vaults all the way. Recorded at Stockholm Concert Hall on February 3, 1975, the performance has long stood as one of the most revered snapshots of the Robin Trower Band at full power—and now, for the first time ever, the complete show will be available to hear in full.
Originally issued in 1976, Live! was limited by vinyl running time, with only seven tracks making the original LP. The new 50th Anniversary Edition restores the concert to its full scope, newly remixed and restored from the original multi-track tapes for this Deluxe Extended Edition. The set captures Trower (guitar) alongside James Dewar (bass/vocals) and Bill Lordan (drums) with a chemistry that remains widely regarded as one of the era’s finest live lineups.
Available via Chrysalis Records on Friday, April 3, the release arrives in 2LP, 2CD, and digital formats, presenting the complete 1975 Stockholm performance with both the new 2026 remix and the original 1975 mix. Five previously unreleased tracks from the night bring the setlist back to its full arc, delivering searing versions of staples including “Too Rolling Stoned,” “Day of the Eagle,” and “Rock Me Baby,” along with the title-defining atmosphere of “Bridge of Sighs.”
“That night in ’75…we were just flying,” Trower says—an understated line that neatly captures what listeners have always heard in these tapes: a band locked in, fearless, and operating at peak altitude.
