The countdown to a milestone year just got louder.
On March 5, 2026, Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion announced the addition of six dynamic artists to its highly anticipated 25th Anniversary lineup. Taking over State Street in Historic Downtown Bristol Sept. 11-13, the award-winning festival continues to build momentum with the latest additions: St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Los Lobos, Trousdale, The Band Loula, Sunny Sweeney, and Organ Fairchild.
These newly announced acts will join previously revealed headliner Sierra Ferrell and 24 other standout artists for what promises to be a truly unforgettable reunion.
St. Paul & the Broken Bones returns for their third Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion appearance, bringing their signature powerhouse soul sound and electrifying live performance back to the stage.
Los Lobos — multi-platinum selling artists and award winners — have captivated fans around the globe, creating music that beautifully reflects America’s rich cultural melting pot.
Making their first Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion appearance in 2026, Trousdale will showcase the soaring harmonies that have quickly become their trademark.
The Band Loula continues to generate industry buzz with their undeniable chemistry and near-blood harmonies. The trio recently made their debut at the Grand Ole Opry, earning a standing ovation.
Born in Houston and raised in East Texas, Sunny Sweeney will make her festival debut, delivering her signature blend of country grit and honky-tonk heart.
Hailed by “Live For Live Music” as a “fast-rising NY band,” Organ Fairchild crafts a dynamic organ-trio-meets-rock-band sound, drawing inspiration from artists such as Soulive, Medeski Martin & Wood, The Grateful Dead, Steely Dan, and The Meters.
Produced by the nonprofit Birthplace of Country Music, Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion marks its 25th anniversary in 2026 — a major milestone for the festival that began in 2001 and has since grown into one of the nation’s most beloved music events. Each year, the festival transforms downtown Bristol into a vibrant, multi-day celebration that honors the legacy of roots music while championing its future.
This initial lineup includes Sierra Ferrell, The War and Treaty, Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives, The Del McCoury Band, Braxton Keith, Mon Rovîa, The Creekers, Maggie Antone, Hannah Dasher, Kruse Brothers, Darrell Scott String Band feat. Rob Ickes, Clay Street Unit, Madeline Edwards, Franklin Jonas & The Byzantines, Jim Lauderdale & The Game Changers, Kruger Brothers, Larry Keel & Jon Stickley Duo, Scythian, Mason Via, Donna the Buffalo, Big Daddy Love, Holy Roller, Florencia & The Feeling, and Reedy River String Band—plus an exclusive reunion set from Acoustic Syndicate.
The stage is set – and we’re not done yet! Fans can look forward to the full lineup reveal in late spring, along with the announcement of the Thursday Night Kick-Off Show at The Bristol Hotel’s LUMAC Rooftop Bar, coming later this month.
