Ryan Dart Releases New Album ‘If Love Don’t Break You’ May 1

Colorado Americana songwriter, producer, and touring veteran Ryan Dart will release a new full-length album, If Love Don’t Break You, on May 1, 2026. The deeply personal collection explores themes of love, loss, resilience, time, and healing, shaped by divorce, the loss of his farm, falling in love again, and life as a single father.

Blending acoustic grit, soulful vocals, and roots-driven storytelling, If Love Don’t Break You finds Dart at his most reflective and confident. Drawing from both his Colorado and Arkansas roots, the album lives in the space between mountain country, Southern Americana, and modern folk.

The album’s lead single, “Dirt Road Woman,” (February 20) offers a warm celebration of empowered women, hard-earned wisdom, and the electric pull of new love. The song captures the intoxicating honeymoon phase of a relationship that follows heartbreak, when time seems to disappear and something real finally takes hold. The second single “Wranglers and Rock & Roll” will be released March 20. The third single Dancing On Your Porch will be released April 10.

“This record is about everything that happens when life breaks you down and builds you back up,” says Dart. “It’s about learning from mistakes, losing things you love, and still finding the courage to open your heart again. You gotta ride the bad horses before you know the good ones.”

“If Love Don’t Break You” features Richard Bowden (Texas fiddle legend, Ryan Bingham/Terry Allen) and a close-knit group of Colorado musicians, including Katie Mintle (vocals), Peyton Langford (bass), Nate Barnes (drums), Bridget Law (fiddle), Daniel Sproul (guitar), creating a rich, organic sound rooted in community and collaboration.

Born in Colorado and raised in rural Arkansas, Dart’s music bridges the landscapes that shaped him: the Rocky Mountains and the Ozarks. A longtime member of the Coupe Studios family, he has spent decades behind the scenes as a producer, engineer, tour manager, and artist manager for acclaimed acts including Elephant Revival and Dinosaur Jr., while touring globally with artists such as Bob Dylan, Jack Johnson, Ryan Bingham, Wilco, and The Who.

In 2024, Dart returned to Coupe Studios as Director of Music and Media Partnerships, while continuing to write, record, and perform annually. If Love Don’t Break You represents a culmination of his life experience, craftsmanship, and emotional honesty.

The album will be available on all major streaming platforms and digital retailers May 1, 2026.

Upcoming tour dates include:
