The countdown is on for a landmark year in Bristol. Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion has added 25 more artists to its 25th anniversary lineup, including a major headliner return from Old Crow Medicine Show.

On April 28, 2026, the festival announced the latest wave of artists joining the celebration in Historic Downtown Bristol on September 11-13.

New additions include Fust, Meels, Johnny Mullenax, Denitia, Caitlin Krisko & The Broadcast, Jon Stickley Trio, The Wilson Springs Hotel, Toby Gad & Dave Eggar, Moga Family Band, Laid Back Country Picker, Bristol Lightning, KG & The Bad Habits, Oscar Harris, Gritty Flyright & The Music Family, Ed Snodderly, Erin Lunsford, Dallas Wayne, The Dimestore Cowboys, Freak Rangers, Leonard Blush & The Camelcals, Ranford Almond, ETSU Bluegrass Band, Lucille Klement, and Josh Mitcham.

They join an already strong lineup featuring Sierra Ferrell, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Los Lobos, The War and Treaty, Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives, The Del McCoury Band, Braxton Keith, Mon Rovîa, The Creekers, Maggie Antone, Trousdale, Hannah Dasher, Kruse Brothers, Acoustic Syndicate, Darrell Scott String Band feat. Returning to Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion for the fourth time, Old Crow Medicine Show has spent more than a quarter century blending the vernacular traditions of old-school America — including mountain music, bluegrass, old-time, and folk — into modern songs for country dwellers and city slickers alike.

“Old Crow Medicine Show is the definitive Appalachian band,” said Richard Oakley, Festival Director of Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion.

Oakley continued, “Ketch Secor and his crew have been adding integral pages to this mountain music story for nearly three decades now. We are elated to create new history together, as they make their monumental return to State Street in September.”

Produced by the nonprofit Birthplace of Country Music, Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion marks its 25th anniversary in 2026 — a major milestone for the festival that began in 2001 and has since grown into one of the nation’s most beloved music events.

Each year, the festival transforms downtown Bristol into a vibrant, multi-day celebration that honors the legacy of roots music while championing its future.

Fans can look forward to the full lineup reveal coming May 27, along with multiple merchandise drops throughout the summer.

Festival tickets are on sale now online at BristolRhythm.com or in person at the Birthplace of Country Music Museum. Three-day GA ticket prices will increase to the next tier on May 8. VIP Experiences are also available and selling quickly.
