Widespread Panic and Cloud 9 Adventures announce details for the fourteenth edition of their beloved concert vacation, Panic en la Playa. This all-inclusive destination event returns to the shores of the Caribbean and takes over Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya for four nights of music from January 19–23, 2027. Guests joining the event for the first time can opt in for early pre-sale access at panicenlaplaya.com.
Widespread Panic will perform on each of the four nights, creating another unforgettable experience for their devoted fanbase. The concert vacation also features afternoon and late-night shows from Dumpstaphunk, Big Something, Mountain Grass Unit, Maggie Rose, Bloodkin, Kendall Street Company, and the Playa Allstars—a supergroup curated specially for the event.
Guests can expect first-rate production, unmatched acoustics, and a spacious dance floor during this intimate concert vacation. With chef-curated food stalls, tequila bars, and wait service throughout the crowd, fans can enjoy the show without ever losing their prime dancing spot.
Beyond the music, fans have access to one-of-a-kind experiences. Daytime programming includes morning yoga, artist-hosted poolside games, and more to be announced, plus creative theme nights that electrify the vibe and bring the community together. This intimate event has cultivated a close-knit community of returning guests, first-time attendees, artists, and staff—making it no surprise that past editions have quickly sold out.
Panic en la Playa returns to Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya, located between Playa del Carmen and Tulum. Guests can choose from a wide array of room categories, including premium suites overlooking the main stage, swim-out rooms, and private sky terraces. Returning guests can expect the same fan-friendly layout with updated resort offerings, including new restaurant concepts and refreshed guest rooms.
Fans looking to give back can connect with nonprofit organization Positive Legacy, which continues to support humanitarian and environmental efforts in the Riviera Maya region.
Panic en la Playa is produced by Cloud 9 Adventures, a premier provider of international concert vacations at all-inclusive resorts and on luxury cruise ships, bringing bands and fans together in intimate settings since 2003.
