Reggae Town Music presents Reggae on Fire, a cannabis-friendly concert featuring two generations of Bay Area reggae talent, on Saturday, August 22, at Root’d in the 510 Cannabis Lounge in Oakland.
Bay Area reggae veteran Donny Rasta will perform with his full band, JAHBUDDA!, alongside longtime San Francisco favorites Native Elements. Together, the groups will celebrate Bay Area reggae, community, culture, and positive vibrations inside Oakland’s largest cannabis lounge.

Donny Rasta brings more than 30 years of experience in the roots and culture reggae scene. Known for powerful vocals, conscious lyrics, energetic performances, and a message grounded in unity, love, and cultural awareness, he will take the stage with JAHBUDDA! for a full-band set of authentic roots reggae, uplifting messages, and deep rhythms.

Native Elements has helped keep the Bay Area’s energetic, feel-good reggae tradition alive for more than three decades. The group blends reggae with elements of rock, jazz, R&B, hip-hop, lovers rock, and soul.

The concert will take place at Root’d in the 510, an equity-owned Oakland cannabis business located in the heart of the Temescal neighborhood. Root’d was created to serve the local community while offering a welcoming Oakland cannabis experience.
Admission to the cannabis-consumption area is restricted to guests age 21 or older. Valid government-issued photo identification is required.
Cannabis is not included in the ticket price. All purchases and consumption are subject to Root’d policies and applicable California and Oakland laws. Guests are encouraged to consume responsibly and not drive while impaired. A designated driver, public transportation, taxi, or rideshare service is recommended.
