Country music legend Randy Travis and his label home, Warner Records Nashville, unveiled all the details today for his highly anticipated, never-before-heard album, Same Old Way, set for release on November 13.
The project marks Travis’ first album of completely new material in more than 18 years, featuring tracks recorded throughout his distinguished career from 1986 to 2013.

Today’s announcement arrives with the release of the title track, “Same Old Way,” penned by Travis with his longtime producer and friend, Kyle Lehning. It is the only song the pair has written together and marks the first time Lehning has received a major songwriting credit.

Following his 2013 stroke, fans and music industry insiders alike weren’t sure a project like this would ever be possible again, but Randy continues to make history, and this album is living proof of that.
Lehning uncovered the tracks on the album after years of them being locked away in the vault. He assembled, remixed, and remastered the recordings with Randy’s input, giving the world 12 more original Randy Travis songs and bringing back his iconic, irreplaceable voice.
Randy has already released two singles from Same Old Way, “Fish On” and “I Don’t Care,” in addition to today’s title track. The songs have received praise from Entertainment Tonight, Parade, Billboard, Whiskey Riff, Country Central, Holler, All Country News, and many more.
