The Americana Music Association has announced the performers for its 25th annual Americana Honors & Awards, taking place Wednesday, September 16, at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. Doors open at 5 p.m. CT, and the ceremony begins at 6:30 p.m. CT.
Robert Plant will return to the Ryman stage 15 years after Band of Joy received the association’s 2011 Album of the Year award. Plant will deliver a special performance as a recipient of the 2026 Americana Music Association Lifetime Achievement Award.
The evening will also honor the late Dolly Parton with a Lifetime Achievement Award recognizing her impact on country, folk, bluegrass, gospel, popular music, songwriting, and American roots music. Following Parton’s death in August, the ceremony will include a special performance celebrating her life and legacy.
Additional performers include Boy Golden, Brandi Carlile, Crowe Boys, Flatland Cavalry, I’m With Her, Jesse Welles, Kashus Culpepper, Kathleen Edwards, Ken Pomeroy, Margo Price, Molly Tuttle, Mon Rovîa, and S.G. Goodman.

The Milk Carton Kids will return to host the ceremony, while songwriter, musician, and producer Buddy Miller will again serve as musical director of the Americana All-Star Band. The group features Don Was, Larry Campbell, Fred Eltringham, Jen Gunderman, Jim Hoke, and The McCrary Sisters.
The ceremony will stream live beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET/6:30 p.m. CT through NPR Music’s YouTube channel and the Americana Music Association’s Facebook page. Live audio will also air on SiriusXM’s Outlaw Country and Nashville radio stations WRLT 100.1 FM, WSM 650 AM, and WMOT 89.5 FM.
An edited version of the program will premiere November 21 in the Austin City Limits time slot.
The Honors & Awards ceremony is the centerpiece of the 26th annual AMERICANAFEST, taking place September 15-19 across more than 40 Nashville venues.
