Texas-based alt-country group Chaparelle, featuring singer-songwriters Zella Day, Jesse Woods and Beau Bedford, has released its newest single, “Endless Texas Summer.”
The song captures that familiar stretch of the Texas calendar when the season seems determined to linger, balancing the desire for cooler days with the reluctance to let summer go.
“Just when you think summer is over, it gets a little bit hotter. There’s always that stretch of time in Texas when summer refuses to let go. The days get longer, the nights get warmer, and it feels like the season has become something of its own—the fifth season in our home state. ‘Endless Texas Summer’ is about that feeling: when you’re caught somewhere between wanting summer to end and wanting to hold onto it forever. A little sweaty, a little romantic, a little bittersweet.”
Chaparelle formed in 2023 and released its debut album, Western Pleasure, in 2025. The trio’s music draws from country, Americana, soul and rock and roll, centered around the vocal interplay between Day and Woods and Bedford’s production and musicianship.
