Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country Announces Two-Night Denver Run

Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country will bring a two-night Denver run to two of the city’s best-known music venues this fall, performing at Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom on Friday, November 6, and Mission Ballroom on Saturday, November 7. Doors open at 7 p.m., with music beginning at 8 p.m. each night.

The Denver shows follow the release of the band’s first live album, Ryman to Robert’s, which arrived August 28 via Retrace Music. The album documents the group’s sold-out debut headlining performance at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium on August 22, 2025—the same day their third album, Horizons, was released.

Ryman to Robert’s includes the complete Ryman performance along with selections from the band’s special after-show set that evening at Robert’s Western World. There, the group played classic country music at the honky-tonk located just across the alley from the Ryman where Donato’s musical journey began.

The evening represented more than a sold-out show and album release for the singer, songwriter and guitar virtuoso. It was a full-circle moment for Donato, who began performing on Nashville’s Lower Broadway as a young teenager, sometimes playing for eight hours a day on weekends. At 17, he was invited to audition for the Don Kelley Band, one of the house bands at Robert’s Western World.

“At the age of 14, I started busking on the street in front of the Ryman, and soon after that, I discovered Robert’s Western World,” Donato says. “For 464 shows, I played at Robert’s, and after most shows, I would go and gaze at the majesty of the Mother Church in the late hours of the night.”

“It is said that Nashville is a 10-year town. On the day of performing and recording this live album, it was the 10-year anniversary of my last show at Robert’s and the first time headlining the Ryman Auditorium. To celebrate this occasion, we did what had never been done on Broadway by playing a sold-out show at the Ryman and immediately playing a set at the honky-tonk that started it all for me, Robert’s Western World.”

“In a 10-year town, with 10,000 hours under these strings, the cosmic circle was fulfilled, and just about every note of every minute of this day is now ready to share with the world.”

Horizons also earned praise from Rolling Stone, Relix, Saving Country Music, Magnet, The Tennessean, The Nashville Scene and Grateful Web, among others. The band made its second appearance on CBS Saturday Morning following the album’s release.

Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country blends roadhouse twang, country songwriting, psychedelic exploration and rock improvisation into a sound Donato has made his own. The group features Donato alongside Nathan “Sugarlegg” Aronowitz on keyboards, guitar and vocals; Will “Mustang” McGee on bass and vocals; and Will “Bronco” Clark on drums, percussion and vocals.
