Texas singer-songwriter Mark Winters will bring his Good Vibes Highway Tour to Mohawk Place in Buffalo, New York, on Thursday, October 15, 2026. The 7 p.m. performance will feature Winters’ blend of acoustic rock, blues, pop and what he calls “rock with a positive vibe.”
Based in Sugar Land, Texas, Winters is a singer-songwriter, guitarist, entrepreneur, poet, family man and aerospace engineer. He first picked up a guitar to perform a song for his wife on their anniversary and discovered the joy of connecting with people through music.
Winters draws inspiration from the people he meets and the places he visits, bringing a positive outlook and a touch of scientific curiosity to his songwriting. His musical influences include John Mayer, Tom Petty and Jason Mraz.
“My music starts from a place of poetry and creative inspiration, and I use my ‘rocket-scientist brain’ to find structures that help me explore that initial burst of inspiration and feeling—like writing haikus, my favorite,” Winters said. “My grandmother taught me to express myself through poetry, and I’m thankful to her for setting me on this creative and expressive path.”
Winters holds a degree in aerospace, aeronautical and astronautical engineering. His background in math and science helps shape an approach to songwriting built around making complicated emotions easier to understand. Music also gives him a place to explore the balance between analytical thinking and creative expression.
His Buffalo appearance is part of a Gulf and East Coast tour introducing audiences to his catalog of uplifting, guitar-driven songs.
