Home Street Music’s GratitudeFest Comes to Austin November 22

AUSTIN, Texas – Home Street Music will host GratitudeFest, an evening of live music, on Sunday, Nov. 22, at Rosette in Austin. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the show begins at 6 p.m. The event is open to all ages. Get tickets here.

Held the week of Thanksgiving, GratitudeFest is a celebration of thanks: for the participants who make music with Home Street Music every week, and for the volunteers, artists and supporters who make the program possible.

The lineup features Home Street Music founder Vanessa Lively alongside the program’s team of artists: Ben Bedford, Amy Sue Berlin, Gregory Alexander, Raina Rose, Ali Holder, Helyn Rain, Rich Russell, Scott Osborn, Erin Ivey and J Wagner.

The evening will also include a silent auction featuring artwork, Austin Symphony Orchestra tickets and more, with all proceeds benefiting Home Street Music.

In keeping with its mission to foster inclusive and therapeutic musical experiences, Home Street Music invites the public to meet the artists, volunteers and organizers behind the program as they celebrate the power of music to transform lives and build inclusive communities.

“We’re grateful for the way music brings people together,” said Vanessa Lively, musician and founder of Home Street Music. “Through our programs, we have witnessed radical changes in our participants, including greater self-confidence, self-expression and stronger connections to the wider community.”

Home Street Music has also launched a new weekly Women’s Circle, which meets at The Living Room at Community First Village, 9301 Hog Eye Road, Austin, Texas.

Tickets are available at rosetteatx.org.

This project has been financed in part by the City of Austin’s Elevate Program through the City of Austin Economic Development Department.
