BALTHVS return with their new single, “Eternal Flow,” out now via Mixto Records. The track follows a whirlwind year of global touring and the release of Transmutations LP, while also announcing a new album currently in the works and a summer tour.
More than just a standalone release, “Eternal Flow” marks a renewed chapter for the band, one rooted in reconnection and the unmistakable chemistry that first defined the trio’s sound. With the new song, BALTHVS celebrates the return of bassist Johanna Mercuriana, whose melodic intuition and fluid groove helped shape the band from the very beginning.
“Eternal Flow” is the fourth single from BALTHVS’ upcoming fifth studio album, MANIFEST, due out later this fall.
The song captures the band at their most expansive and emotionally resonant. It unfolds gradually, like a ritual or tide, blurring the line between psychedelic exploration and deep rhythmic meditation.
Over the past several years, BALTHVS has quietly become one of the most globally acclaimed psychedelic acts emerging from Latin America. With more than 120 million streams, performances across 26 countries, a Libera Awards nomination, and appearances at national and international festivals including Lollapalooza, Jam Cruise, Electric Forest, Austin City Limits, Outside Lands, and SXSW Sydney, the trio has amassed an international audience.
Despite their rapid rise, the spirit of BALTHVS has always centered on exploration and human connection. Their music thrives in live settings as they transform songs night after night onstage, stretching beyond their original forms through improvisation and collective energy.
That sense of transformation became especially meaningful during the band’s recent era of transition, documented throughout their latest releases and extensive world touring. Now, with Johanna Mercuriana back in the fold alongside guitarist and producer Balthazar Aguirre and drummer Santiago Lizcano, “Eternal Flow” feels both like a homecoming and a glimpse forward.
The single reflects the intuitive interplay that has made BALTHVS such a singular force live: Santiago’s deeply pocketed percussion, Balthazar’s fluid and atmospheric guitar work, and Johanna’s warm, hypnotic basslines locking together with near-telepathic precision.
With “Eternal Flow,” the trio invites listeners to step deeper into the current. The new song is out now via Mixto Records and is available everywhere you stream music.
