Big Deep, the genre-bending outfit and newly announced project of former Spafford co-founder Jordan Fairless, has released a stunning almost 12-minute live rendition of "Eclipse," offering fans their first taste of the band's forthcoming debut studio album, expected this summer.
Recorded at an intimate art studio in Woodstock, NY during the deep cold of winter, the performance captures the moment that marked the band's very inception — a raw, unfiltered document of Big Deep finding their footing and, by the sound of it, hitting the ground running. The live version of "Eclipse" stretches the track into expansive territory, showcasing the band's ability to build, breathe, and push a song well beyond its original boundaries.
The studio version of "Eclipse" will appear on Big Deep's debut album, due out summer 2026.
"Eclipse" (Live) is available now on YouTube.
About Big Deep:
Big Deep was born in Woodstock, New York — a project that began as a naive discovery of what's possible when you stop long enough to listen. The sound is indie rock with expansive rhythms and addictive melody; '90s alternative grit wrapped in southern soul with a honky-tonk sway, soaring synths, and an unstoppable drum groove. The result is something that feels good to be around.
