Big Shrimp Winter Tour!
Big Shrimp, the explosive progressive-jam quartet from Bridgeport, CT, will make their long-awaited Colorado debut this January as they kick off a four-night run to launch their extensive 2026 Winter Tour. Known for high-energy improvisation, genre-bending intensity, and a hungry, mid-20s creative drive, the band has quickly emerged as one of the most talked-about up-and-coming acts in the modern jam and progressive-rock landscape.
The momentum surrounding Big Shrimp continues to build nationally. The group was recently featured by Live For Live Music for its expanding footprint and wave of new releases (read article). Their newest live release, The Prawno Tapes, Vol. 3, captures the blistering improvisation and exploratory peaks that have fueled the growth of their loyal fanbase—affectionately known as “Prawn Stars.” The band is also preparing its debut studio album, currently in development and slated for release later in 2026.
To deepen fan engagement during the tour, Big Shrimp recently launched Won Buy One, a new initiative designed to reward pre-sale supporters. Anyone who purchases a pre-sale ticket is automatically entered into a nightly drawing. At the encore break each show, one winner receives complimentary tickets to a future Big Shrimp performance.
