Greensky Bluegrass added a spark of collaborative magic to Blue Ox Music Festival on Friday, June 28, 2025, when the band welcomed Grammy-winning flat-picker Molly Tuttle to the Pines Music Park stage in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Midway through an already-fiery first set, Tuttle strapped on her guitar for Sean Camp’s “My Love Will Not Change,” and the single morphed into a sprawling jam more than seven minutes long. Trading fiery leads with Anders Beck’s dobro and weaving in and out of Paul Hoffman and Dave Bruzza’s vocal lines, Tuttle pushed the tune from defiant country shuffle to soaring, twin-guitar climax before the ensemble snapped back into the final chorus to a roar from the hillside crowd.
The sit-in captured everything Blue Ox has come to represent over its eleven-year run: genre-bending musicianship, spontaneous guest appearances, and a festival atmosphere that invites artists—and fans—to chase musical moments that happen only once. For anyone who missed the Wisconsin fireworks, a multi-camera fan video of the collaboration is already circulating online; catch Greensky Bluegrass and Molly Tuttle’s extended take on “My Love Will Not Change” here.
