The next iteration of this breathtaking series arrives at the Boulder Theater on Saturday, December 13, 2025, with new ocean stories and stunning visuals that promise to be the most beautiful and inspiring yet.
Ocean Bloom is a one-of-a-kind experience that weaves together some of the most extraordinary underwater cinematography in the world from Emmy Award-winning cinematographer, photographer, and storyteller Shawn Heinrichs, paired with the astounding live music of award-winning artist Samuel J. They are joined by Ayla Nereo, Bloomurian, Hannah Mermaid, and other special guest performers, blending live music, immersive art, storytelling, and visuals into a transformative event for the senses.
This very special edition of Ocean Bloom draws on Heinrichs’ real-life experiences in the field with some of our oceans’ most charismatic creatures, complemented by Hannah Mermaid’s underwater performance art and Samuel J’s heart-opening music. Together, the artists create a seamless flow of story, sound, and imagery that celebrates the magic of our oceans while calling attention to the urgent need for conservation.
Beyond the performance itself, Ocean Bloom serves as a hub for collaboration between ocean conservation organizations, musicians, DJs, and climate platforms. It’s more than a concert—it’s a gathering of the creative, conservation, and business communities working together to create tangible impact.
