DIZGO RELEASES NEW SINGLE “OUTER SPACE” — OUT NOW

Ascending jamtronica quartet DIZGO releases “Outer Space” today, a bold, intrepid cut that completes the band’s year‑long Space Migration storyline. Shimmering analog synths, elastic bass, technicolor guitar lines, and patient, deep‑pocket grooves frame a performance that both spotlights each member’s virtuosity and locks into the cohesive, lift‑off chemistry that’s made DIZGO one of the Midwest’s most talked‑about live acts.

Slinky and liquid in motion, “Outer Space” rides a buoyant disco groove that unfolds gradually, building from a patient pocket into a radiant crescendo capped by a soaring, tastefully restrained guitar solo. The track pulses with confidence and curiosity, pondering both the vast and the personal through layered storytelling and cosmic imagery.

The track was recorded in DIZGO’s own Bloomington studio, and completed  in collaboration with a team of Nashville-based creatives. Produced by Julius Wilder, mixed by Maddie Harmon (Noah Kahan), and mastered by Dan Shike, the single represents a new high-water mark for the group — both sonically and spiritually. “This is the first time we’ve worked with a team like this for a song release,” says NAME  “It was rewarding in more ways than one. Sonically speaking, we’re proud to say this is the best release in our catalog, and we have the three of them to thank for it.”

Accompanying the single is a striking animated music video created by DreamBiscuit, the visionary animation studio whose work spans collaborations with artists including Lil Uzi Vert and The Main Squeeze. The video expands on DIZGO’s interstellar visual identity, transforming their cosmic live energy into a kaleidoscopic journey through rhythm, color, and imagination.

The single lands in the slipstream of the band’s Outer Space Tour, which is currently traversing the East Coast and Midwest and recently delivered a breakthrough main stage performance at Live Oak, FL’s Suwannee Hulaween, one of the Southeast’s premier festivals. Later this month, DIZGO hits the road for a series of shows supporting Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, in Arkansas, Nebraska, Wisconsin, and Kentucky. 2025 culminates with a two‑night New Year’s homecoming at Moontown Brewing (Dec 30–31) in Whitestown, IN, the final “touchdown” in DIZGO’s 2025 Space Migration before the band boards Jam Cruise early next year.
