"Gotta Get Out" is the debut single from British artist Fox Fagan, presenting eclectic forays into psych-rock, chamber-pop, and the "alternative". This track charts the unique challenges of creating art in a pandemic, at a time when Fagan’s bandmates were scattered around the world, as he pushed himself to find new forms of expression.

From Los Angeles collaborations with Chris Shiflett (Foo Fighters) and Wilson Phillips to gigs in English seaside towns and Melbourne grunge clubs, "Gotta Get Out" draws on Fagan’s unique musical journey.

Written over one surreal, trippy day, its three-part harmony and Tame Impala-inspired drums evoke Fagan’s striving to “get out of my own way,” and produce art at the height of California’s lockdown. “It has an orchestral vibe about it, especially in the choruses,” says Fagan. Check out the fun-filled, and a bit trippy, animated video of "Gotta Get Out" created by Australian animator Alex Raunjak

Fagan, originally from Portsmouth, UK, is a multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter who lived in Melbourne, Australia before moving to Los Angeles. He is a member of Teleskopes, the critically acclaimed Los Angeles-based "shoe-gazing space rock" group whose "expansive sound… abides the old saying 'go big or go home.'" (Buzzbands LA.)
